Who's that knocking at my door? 16 Center Of School Operations Student friendship is Mr. Duncan's greatest goal. The credit to the management of Rock Hill High School goes to the office workers, guidance counselor, and our principal. Without these people Rock Hill would not be the smooth running organization that it is. Therefore we at Rock Hill Senior High express our appreciation and compliments to our highly efficient staff. Being a principal is not boring to Mr. Kegley. 17 Keeping all windows clean is one of Mrs. McKee’s many duties. Custodians help maintain Rock Hill’s clean enviroment Cooks And Custodians Help The cooks at Rock Hill concentrate on preparing nourishing lunches. 18 Manage Rock Hill’s Pleasant Environment One of Mr. Dean's main duties is keeping all lights working properly. Nourishing lunches and a clean environment are greatly stressed in Rock Hill's service to the students of our district. Along with the everyday class courses, students are provided with the necessary nutrients to carry on the required physical and mental activities of a typical school day. To maintain these conveniences, the custodians strive to keep the environment at Rock Hill clean and enjoyable. With more and more co-operation from the students, we hope to show a greater appreciation of our school and of those who keep it maintained. These ideas and skills must be put into practice, enabling a student to bring out hidden skills or talents. The total sum of ideas, skills and achievements enable each individual to find a purpose in his life. We can then see our own individual contributions and importance to the overall development of society. We at Rock Hill strive to develop those skills in the individual students, whereby he can discover his role in life. being explained to C. Evans and B. Mrs. Thompkins looks on as her special ed. students study a Frontier novel. English Is The Key To Student participation is shown in the Sophomore English class. The future of the world's affairs lies in communication. Here at Rock Hill Senior High, the language teachers strive to achieve proper grammar techniques for the students. In doing so they help assure that our graduating students will be able to communicate reasonably and effectively in a more complex society. Proper grammar techniques consolidate powers of reading, writing, reasoning and comprehension, which we all have. By unmasking these powers one gains the ability to get along in society, to be wisely informed on confronting issues, and to evaluate job opportunities. Instructions are given by Mr. Murnahan in Junior English. The library is a vital aid to Senior English students. Math classes are designed to supply students with the basic mathematical skills needed to function in a modem society. Elective math classes enable willing students to pursue a more vigorous course of math study. From basic math to advanced calculus, students have the opportunity to develop the skills in math they will need in the future.
