Junior Play MEET MY WIVES When the little wife walks out on you and you suddenly need her in an emergency, what can you do? Get a substitute of course. That is what Alix Ware does when his wife quarrels and leaves him in a jealous rage. He does it to oblige his old college pals, Bill and Hank, who are lodgers in his house, the three having sworn an oath of fealty: One for all and all. Billy is giving a dinner party for his sweetheart, Ann. and her old maid sister Prudence, who has refused to attend the party unless a married woman is present as chaperon. He persuades Hank's fiancee, Cuddles, a chorus girl, to pose as Alix's wife during the dinner party, and he sends for his Uncle Zebediah from, Idaho, whom he hopes to marry off to Prudence, since Ann cannot marry him until the homely Prudence catches a husband.
