Class Will We, the Senior Class of Rock Hill High School, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fifty-one, being of sound mind and body and beinp about to pass from this life in school into the Great Life beyond, do make and ordain this our last will and testament. To our teachers, who have tried so hard to hammer a little sense into us, wc leave bigger and better hammers to use on future Senior Classes. To the Juniors we leave the proud name of SENIORS, and the following possessions: I, Robert (Hawkeye) Reffitt, will my educated toe to Bob Henry. I, Jim (Little Buck) Wilson will my reserved seat beside the girls on the school bus to John Depriest. I, Monica (Po Ko) Adams will my quiet disposition to Joan Hunter. 1, Deroy (Swift Deer) Stapleton will my title of Flying Saucer to Lee Addis. We, Jim (Great Eagle) Steed and Danny (Long Bow) Ferguson will our habit of coming to school late every morning to the teachers. I, Dan (Little Man) Blair will my ability to do the most book throwing when there are no teachers around to Margaret Spears. I, Cecil (Tonto) Wilds will the honor of being Great Chief of the basketball team to Earl Koster. I, Lois (Snow Maiden) Gannon will my Indian Love Call to Juanita Primm. I, Betty (Brown Fawn) Turvey will my war paint to Joan Cremeans. I, Fletcher (Red Feather) White will my job at the Ro-Na Theatre to anyone who owns a good flashlight. 1. Bob (Winterspring) Brammer will my position as Medicine man for the Red-men’s team to Bobby Depriest. I, Barbara (Clear Brook) Layne will my habit of going on the warpath when 1 get mad to Auretta Martin. 1, Helen (Tamerland) Mullins will my book on How To Catch A Man to Judy Stickler. I, Bernice (Che Chee) Saunders will my broadway twist to Arthur Mullins. I, Bill (Flying Arrow) Hutchinson will my ability to entertain Mr. Saunders by singing Hole In The Bottom Of The Sea to Charles Lambert. I, Barbara (Young Maiden) Pinkerman will my book How To Slenderize Your Figure to Faye Bryant. I, Jack (Sitting Bull) Blair will my seat in Senior Guidance to Ruby Schug. 1, Evelyn (Little Moon) Harper will a fifty cent bag of roasted peanuts to be eaten in Senior Mathematics class to Joyce Markins. We, Lawrence (Gray Hawk) Bailey and James (Northbrook) Ferguson will our movie star features to Herman Zornes. I, Catherine (Tippo) Kimble will my red hair to Mary Ann Wagner, since she already has the temper that accompanies it. I, Avaneil (Tonkin) Stapleton, will my beautiful smile to Frances Johnson. We, Francis (Little Arrow) Pancake and Edward (White Cloud) Johnson will our athletic careers to Jim Cline. I, Golden (Summersaw) Webb will my trumpet to Joe Hankins. I, John (Fleetfoot) Bare will my habit of becoming sick before a tough football game to Don Huff. I, Ralph (Chief-Rain-In-The-Face) Ackison will my girl friend G. P. to anyone who likes to watch television. Golden Webb and Bill Morris came from Kitts Hill, And in Senior Mathematics they are really a pill. In public Bill Burks behaves like a colt, But on a date he's a thunderbolt. Deroy and Francis, when the teachers call, Can always be found parading the hall. Lois Gannon, a friend to all, Will surely be missed in school next fall. Betty Barnett has a head full of curls, And gets along fine with all of the girls. Now Billy Kitts can really peep, Because he drives in a little gray Jeep. Martha Depriest will doubtlessly surpass The other students in History class. Robert Riffitt, a most cheerful young man, Gets a word in edgewise, whenever he can. Now Donna Zimmerman is not at all dumb, She can manage her lessons and date on the run. Monica Adams is quiet and still, Never misses school unless she is ill. Evelyn Harper, a cute little lass, Refuses to let Johnny Ackison pass. Johnny Bare, our great football star. Really gets around, no wonder--a Car! Rosemary Gore rather shy, but nice. Makes Ed Johnson's heart turn over twice. Betty Turvey, who has lots of spunk, Says, Unless it's a joke, to me it's all junk. Barbara Hankins so witty and gay, Doesn't like to get lessons, but sure loves to play. Danny Blair is known for his art, A love for the beautiful, his art doth impart. Catherine Kimble, red hair and blue eyes, Is always laughing, but never sighs. Georgianna Abrams, the smart little lass, Has all of her lessons when she goes to class. Verna Conaway, our football Queen, Is very little but is always seen. Jack Blair, the hombre of the Junior Class Play, Seems to gather new jokes from day to day. Barbara Pinkerman is only thirteen, Can usually be heard, but can never be seen. Ralph Ackison handles everything from string beans to nails Oops! Watch out, there's a hand on the scales. 21
