Honors Valedictorian-Jim Steed Thoreau has said that, Books are the treasured wealth of the world. Jim, perhaps more than any other member of the class, has been enriched by his continual access to the world of thought as he finds it through his extensive reading. Finely analytical and deeply philosophical, his thinking pushes out far into the great currents of present day thought. His majors and minors clearly indicate the specific trend of his thinking toward the scientific, and those who know Jim are sure that he will not cease his schooling until the desired mastery of his field is attained. If this is the determining factor, Georgianna should achieve greatness in her future work. It is undoubtedly this diligence factor that helped her win the honor salutatorian. Her quick laughter and easy air of friendliness have won her a place in the hearts of all her associates. Those of us who have shared her acquaintance expect great things from her.
