The Rock Hill High Psychology Club enjoyed a year of excitement and learning as new members became active in September. Opening the '82-'83 year with the annual Psychotic Dinner,', club mem- bers got better acquainted with each other and with the subject matter. In December they supported the York County Mental Health Association's Oper- ation Santa Clausn with wrapped gifts for state hos- pital patients. They anticipate a trip to the state hospital this year to learn more about the behavior and treatment of patients with various mental disor- ders. Other programs for members includes an an- nual fund-raiser for association membership CYCMHAJ and a hypnotist program in the future. The Science Club consists of students who are interest- ed in every aspect of our environment. With the enrich- ment of their scientific knowledge, club members hope to improve upon the world in which we live. The Club's interests are reflected in the projects which it has planned. A few of the activities will be a visit to the Rock Hill Planetarium, a trip to Discovery Place in Char- lotte, and an opportunity to attend a lecture at Winthrop College.
