They par- at ticipate in many community projects during the year to better the community and learn at the same time. Their plans each year include giving a Halloween party to a retarded Boy Scout troop, collecting canned goods for the needy at Thanksgiving, sponsoring a needy family at Christmas, and helping with the Special Olympics in the spring. These girls feel good about themselves because they are giving of their time to help others. Rock Hill High School's choral program is designed to give interested students a chance to improve and display their musi- cal talents. All chorus students are first introduced into the program by taking Chorus I. Then, if chosen by Mrs. Helton, they continue with Chorus Il and the Choral Ensemble. These two groups perform at Christmas and in the spring. The Choral Ensemble performs each year at the community Christmas pro- gram at Winthrop College. Under the supervision of Ms. Susie Stephenson, the students create their own programs for video games and other programs that are beneficial for the entire school. The club played a major role in' creating the program for the Computer Dating Service in Feb- ruary, 1983. The organization also planned many field trips to enhance their computer knowledge. Any student presently en- rolled or who has previously taken a computer programming course is welcome to join the Computer Club.
