The Rock Hill Career Development Center is in its tenth year of operation. There are approximately twenty-five programs included in the courses offered. Seven clubs are sponsored through the different departments and offer the students an opportunity to represent their school in extra-curricular activities. Competitive events for the different service areas have produced winners on the district and state levels. All programs at the Center are open to both male and female students and are designed for eleventh and twelfth grade students. However, if class size allows, tenth grade students may enroll in certain programs. Usually, students will take one course at the Center and two or three courses at their home school. At the end of one year's work, students will receive elective credits fthree Carnegie unitsj for the successful comple- tion of work at the Center.
