The Choral Program at Rock Hill High School serves the purpose of displaying and increasing the musi- cal talent of the chorus students. The department consists of three sections: Chorus I, Chorus II, and Choral Ensemble. Chorus I is open to all students. Chorus II and Cho- ral Ensemble members are selected by the director, Mrs. Helton. The Choral Ensemble performs annual- ly in the community Christmas pro- gram at Winthrop College as well as at various church, school, and civic functions. SCIENCE CLUB The Science Club is a group of enthusi- astic students concerned with our worldls future. They see a need in every aspect of life for improvement. As bud- ding young scientists, they hope to find solutions to the major problems facing mankind. Many field trips have been planned for this year 's activities. The Club plans to see Charlotte's new Discovery Place, the Rock Hill Planetarium, several college science departments, a nuclear power plant, and several other interesting places. Projects to clean up and make Rock Hill High an even better place are in the planning stages.
