224 ACK O LEDGME TS To Our Readers: As this school year comes to a close, the yearbook staff have completed another edition of THE BEARCAT. We hope that this book will foster many fond memories of the past year, but we regret that strict time limitations have sometimes prevented the inclusion of records of other memorable occasions. As the Seniors examine this book in years to come, we hope they will experience the feeling of nostalgia we have endeavored to provoke with our yearbook. The Senior members of the staff would like to leave you a few words of wisdom which we hope will make your remaining years at Rock Hill High School some of the best years of your life. No one has said it better than Franklin D. Roosevelt: The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today Let us move forward with strong and active faith. To the following people, we would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for their part in making the production of THE BEARCAT an enjoyable experience: - Mrs. Beryl Tittensor, of Scotland, for the splendid heraldic drawing depicting the Rock Hill High School seal, - Horace and Bill Blackston, for their many favors, for good photography, and for good advice, - Mr. Cook, Tammy Brown, Mike Carroll, and Kevin Kyle, for the many interesting pictures that they took for THE BEARCAT, - Tony Herring, for his enthusiasm as a former Bearcat and for his kindness in thinking of THE BEARCAT, - Robbie Boone, for his write-ups about the football and basketball teams, and Tommy Baker, for the tennis write-up, - The Delmar Company, for their superior printing techniques, - The Evening Herald, for many of the best photos in the annual, - Clemson University newspaper, The Tiger, for pictures of the national champs, - Miss Irene Kneece, for all the material for the CDC section, - Mr. Lessmeister, Mr. Parker, and the faculty and staff of Rock Hill High School for their unfailing support, - Radio WBCY's J ohn-Boy, for selecting the 1982 Senior Beauties, - and Mr. White, for his help in guiding us to the completion of the yearbook.
