With an increase in participation and a show of talent, the 1982 Lady Cats have hopes of developing a top-notch track team. For the past couple of years the Team's strengths have come from this year 's Sen- iors: Anita Blake at the quarter mile, Connie Eish running the half mile, and Jocelyn Hy- att throwing the discus and shot. With quite a few additions to this talent, the Team, coached by Debbie Hammond, has plans for a more solid unit to perform consistently well against the oppo- sition. BOYS' TENNIS The 1980-81 Bearcat Boys' Tennis Team had a very good season against a tough schedule. With very fatiguing practice under the guid- ance of Coach Bob Norwood, many ofthe boys did well at the regional tournament. Under new coaching, the 1981-82 Bearcat Boys' Ten- nis Team is expected to do well with returning Seniors Tommy Baker, Jens Schoenfuss, and Tony Varnadore. Also returning are Tripp Sherer and Joerg Schoenfuss.
