CLASS HI TORY with mixed emotions. We looked forward to our year as Seniors but we would miss our Senior friends we had made in the Senior Class. Our Junior year had been wonderful, but we were ready to advance to a higher station. We re-entered school the following fall, feeling more mature in our advanced position as Seniors. We had achieved the manifest destiny of our high school career. But with this elevation in position we faced deeper responsibilities. We were looked upon as the leaders of Rock Hill High. l Bull session at the corner shop CLASS HISTORY old Smith was made president of our class. Our classmates were chosen for top honors in school. Among them were: Luke Walters-Editor-in-Chief of the Bearcatg Glenda Van Tassel-Carrousel Prin- cessg and Dora Hutcheson-May Queen. We presented our Senior Class Play, Father Knows Best to a large audience. Proceeds went mainly for publishing the Bearcat yearbook. The staff members occupied themselves with the task of preparing the annual for publication. We felt the end of school drawing near as we ordered calling cards and invitations. As we were assigned term papers to write and prepared for the senior trip, we could count the days remaining in our Senior year. Our senior year was filled with events never to be forgotten.
