Eugene Kelly agreeable-quiet Maxme Kennington daydreamerfgraclous CLASS HI TORY perhaps the most astonished. This was no dead language. With chemistry came another surprise- term papers. Already we were getting a sample of what was to come. The eleventh grade also signified the beginning of a new course-commerce. The distant clattering of typewriters became a reality to those taking the course. They began to learn the proper procedures of the business world through the many details of this course. As for our social activities, there were few com- plaints. Q 'vin .4 Many hands help make a gentleman CLASS HISTORY our class. Our Junior year progressed with amazing rapidity. Before long it was time to order our class rings. We felt even nearer to the apex of our high school career. We presented our Junior Play, Drums of Death which was very successful. It had a very unique plot, characterized by mystery complete with a sheriff. That year, also, the Juniors had a class trip. This was to the luxurious Biltmore Estates in Ashe- ville, North Carolina. As usual, our preparations for J unior-Senior surpassed all our activities. The plans and prepara- tions were just as exciting as the event itself. As we invited the Seniors to a ball on a Southern plan- tation, we were exalted.
