Smith scores 6 points ROCK HILL 0, MYERS PARK 6 This game was one of the weirdest of the sea- son. Despite holding Myers Park to only one first down and eight yards rushing, the Bearcats lost 6 to 0. Rock Hill spent the night in Myers Park territory, but couldn't cross the twin stripes. Run- ning out of a spread formation, paced by Joe Wal- lace at tailback, moved to Myers Park's 5 only to miss a first down by inches. Myers Park's touch- down was set up by a pass interception at the Rock Hill 18 and two passes later Mooney went over for the touchdown. ROCK HILL 13, LANCASTER 0 After losing seven straight, the Bearcats ripped Lancaster almost at will. End Mike King scored on a 5 yard pass from Gene Phillips in the second quarter. With time running out in the half, fullback Bill Hollis went 15 yards to paydirt. In the final minutes of play, fullback Hollis got off his longest run of the season, as he burst loose for 62 yards before being hauled down. 2 SF ,,.. ,,,,.,.
