V ice-Presldent courses. The local Club is affiliated with the South Carolina State Trade and Industrial Club. The purposes of this club are: Q15 To 1. encourage better habits of work, both in school and on the job, 125 to promote bet- ter human relations between employers and student-learners, Q31 to study the local need for the vocational training of youths and adults, 141 to offer exploratory courses in some of the trade and industrial types of jobs. An annual activity of the Club is a ban- quet given by the Diversified Occupations students in honor of the employers who co- operated in the training program during the year. The Industrial Arts students pre- pare an exhibit of their projects to display at the annual convention of the State Trade and Industrial Club.

They were the placing of important dates and events on the teachers' calendars and the decorating of the auditorium for the Christmas Pageant. Programs were presented on the qualities of a good teacher. This club is represented at both the district and state meetings. Membership in the club numbered forty-nine girls.

I5 THE MIXED CHORU The purpose of the Mixed Chorus is to pro- mote an interest in the best music, to have fun and fellowship as we sing, enjoy old and new songs, and to give pupils a chance to develop their musical talents. Through her love for us, Mrs. Guess has scolded, pleaded, wept, and praised Rock Hill High's Mixed Chorus into the fine musi- cal group that is recognized throughout the state for its high ratings in the State Music Festival.
