TI-IE BAND The Band has contributed to the enjoyment of many groups, both inside and outside of the city. lt plays at assembly, football and basketball games, and many oth- er school programs. The Band participates in numerous outeof-town activities, principally parades. For the past several years, it has performed at the Presbyterian lunior College Homecoming. The Band attended the Rocking- ham Peach Festival in luly, l949, and many Christmas parades in the late tall and winter. lt takes part in the State Music Festival every spring and also presents a concert for the student body.

DONALD NEAL The Bible Club consists ot approximately one hundred active members among the students of Rock Hill High School and Wintlirop Training School. Cne may join the Bible Club when he is in the ninth grade. lt meets every Thursday night at one of the local churches and every first and third Monday at the high school. One oi the main purposes ot the club is to give the students an opportunity to study the Bible and to teach them more about the Lord. lt sponsors the Religious Emphasis Week program each year, as well as presentf ing the Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter programs. The sponsor ot the Bible Club is Miss Luretta Trumbull. The four principal officers are: President, Anne Harper, Vice-President, Betty Dabney, Secretary, Martha Roberts: Treasurer, Donald Neal. There are sixteen conzrnittee chairmen.
