The Student Council serves as a forum for dis- cussion of all questions pertaining to students and the school, as well as to assist in all student activities and foster the civic virtues of self-control, courtesy, co-oper- ation, and obedience to lawful authority. The Council helps maintain good feeling throughout the school and to promote and increase the spirit of good-will in the community and relationship between the faculty and students. Hall monitors this lst hour - Sandra Pickrel, Don Rhyne, Donna Billeaux and Glenn Frank. 2nd hour - Virgene Gutches, Gary Thompson, Shirley Smith and Darrell Livingston 3rd hour 1 Mary Kay Yeager, Kurt Reichardt, Maxine Ehrat and .lames Sefton 4th hour- Betty Storlien, Jerry Williams, Barbara lVlcNinch and Don Rhyne 5th hour-Kay Klocke, Don Ebenezer, Eddie Crump and Roger Sayers Mr. Swierczewski, Jim Sefton, Jerry Williams, Don Rhyne, Don Ebenezer, George Sullivan fAbsent - Fred Nehrkornl The Student Council sponsored a school carnival and an all school talent show, HThis ls Your Lifev. The group erected the Christmas tree in the study hall and represented the Rock Falls High School at the Student Council Convention at Morrison, lllinois. Again this year the hall monitor system was put into effect by the Student Council.
