' I , i ' 4 l 'ill cyffeffgf 'X X 'lf Q 1 ff il The Class of 1959 decided to throw a big Reunion Party for the Class of 1958 in this year of 1968. The first to arrive at the party was Roselyn Bonewitz, snuggled in a mass of mink! She haughtily informed us that she was now hairdresser of the Queen of England. Not there, Haroldg over there, Haroldg watch what you're doing, Harold! a voice barked out- side the gym door, Why, it was Diana Fahl, or rather Diana Brown. She loudly proclaimed she re- gretted the day she married that Brown Brute, and that she earned their bread as a lady wrestler, We wandered from person to person as the party began to get in full swing. Linda Bullock told us that she was quite happy as the head nurse in an institution for neurotic old men. She also told us that another classmate, Judy Perry, was in a convent after an unhappy love af- fair with another classmate, Lawrence Mower, Linda Kreisher Reed and her better half, Bob, dashed in late and breathless. Their plane had been delayed when the pilot, Alan Slagel, was slugged by the pretty hostess for reasons unknown, Linda and Bob came all the way from their ranch in Argentina where they are raising giant hampsters. Dave Bieber and his spouse, the former Mary Ellen Scott, told us they were quite happy and he was writing the great American novel, How to Live With Your In-Laws and Like It, Ron Allred couldn't get away from his business duties for the party but sent us a lovely letter of re- gret and told us that he and Judy were really doing great in the car business, He is raking in the dough on his new little sports car he designed in honor of Judy. At this point we persuaded Dick Sparks to sing a song for us. Dick has been touring the country giving concerts and making a mint as Boy Soprano, This is pretty good considering he is now 28. His accompanist, Linda Mauger, always accompanies him everywhere. Sharon Stockman told us she was just exhausted from chasing playboy Muriel Dickerson over five continents, She told us that last May she had visited Allen Lowery and his wife, the former Janice Paul, who were missionaries in New Guinea to the cannibalistic natives there, She asked Allen if he didn't miss all the fun and excitement he used to have. He informed her that the natives were always throwing parties and that the hors d'oeuvres were marvelous! She also told us of Shelba Whisenhunt's marriage to Bud Lahr and of Donna Broyles's marriage to Noel Denney. The two couples had bought an 18-foot sailboat and were now crossing the Atlantic for their dual honeymoon. Judy McBride said she loved being ambassador to Russia, Jack Jordan, a leading archeologist and his wife, Nancy Scott, whom he calls his little fossil, were there with very deep tans from their stay in the Gobi Desert, looking for old bones and such, The party was a big success even though some could not make it, We decided that we must do this again in the future, Written by Betty White and representing the Junior Class, 45019 U s
