44'-'N .1 5 1 xo'0 So CLASS PROPHECY We then went to Japan where we attended a concert given by the famous soprano opera singer, Evelyn Bowman. To our surprise, her manager was none other than Ben Fouts. After our visit with Evelyn and Ben, we went to Hawaii to see Bill Kocher and his wife, June Smith, and all the little Kochers. June and Bill are the owners of a large Pineapple Planation. From Hawaii we went to Old Mexico, where we stayed over night at a deluxe tourist camp operated by Mary Vaught and her husband, Frank Crago, Back in the good old U. S. A. we made one final visit to see a former classmate of the class of 56, Janet McClurg, and her husband Jim Wiley. Janet is a professor at Smiths College for girls. CLASS POEM S ENIOR CLASS A finer bunch, you'll never find Strong of body, sound of mind. With school books they are nearly through But the book of life has just begun. The way I'll write these silly rhymes I'll take each senior at a time. They are sure a group of gO-geII81'S So 1et's go down the alphabet letters. DUA NE BECK Duane Beck is our class clown- No-one is sober when Duane is aroundg He sings well, and plays in the band And knows right now just where he'll land. CLASS PROPHECY The year was 1966, we were taking a tour of the world in our new 1966 Spacemobile Convertible. We stopped at the Phillips 66 Atomic Fuel Station to fill up our atomic pill tankg and much to our surprise, the owner was Don Fox and his wife-the former Verma Feem- ster. We started on our trip by visiting the capitol building, there we saw the new president of the United States of America, Jack Brooks and his wife Lois Clark, formerly of Warren, Indiana. We also saw the congressman from Indiana who was none other than Dale Resler, We then left the states, in our brand new 1966 Space-plane, to fly to see the Crown Jewels. To our unbeliving eyes, the guard was Donald Renbarger, a graduate from the class of 1956. He invited us to his house where his wife Joyce Scott was preparing supper. The next day we were walking down the street and met Paul and Verla Jane Park, with their two sets of twins. Our place of destination was Russia, to see Harold Bowman, the new commissioner of the Society of MVD'S for animals. Next, we visited Ernie Hamilton, head of the BE KIND TO BIRDS fan-club. After leaving Russia we flew to Italy, where we visited Jay Mauger and his wife, the former Shirly Whisenhunt, who are the owners of a large dairy farm. Later, we toured Egypt where we saw the famed race car driver, Mark Holley, who married Carolyn Boyer. Next we called on Duane and Leslie Beck, the King and Queen of Suadi Arabia. VERMA FEEMSTER Verma Lois, our Southern Belle, Is a gal that makes the fellows yell She's quite a catch for some nice guy But her date is set in the bye and bye. BENJAMIN FOUTS Benjamin Fouts, our Southern fellow, His dialect's so mild and mellow, He answers to the title of Ben He says he's good with his li'le ole pen. HOWARD FOX Don Fox, our working lad, Who can't think of a darn thing sadg He works in a station, you know what kind We're sure Don is in his right mind????
