The class was rather unevenly divided with 4 girls and i2 boys. Bill McCain left during this.year to go to West Rockcreek. The class officers for our Freshman year were: President, Bob Milligan, Vice President, David Gilbert, Secretary-Treasurer, Barbara Brickley, Student Council, Shirley Hare. Our Sponsor was Ed Brown. In the beginning of our Sophomore year, we had a new student with us, Ann Sheets. We girls certainly welcomed her as we were rather short on girls. During this year, Pat Ellet, one of the wittiest of our class, ioined us. The class officers for our Sophomore year were: President, Tom Eichhorn, Vice President, Dick Harshman, Secretary, Bob Milligan, Treasurer, Barbara Brickley, Student Council, Shirley Hare. Our Sponsor was Ed Brown. In the fall of '50, Bob Jackson and Beverly and Jack Goodman did not return. In addition, we greeted that petite blond, Bee Ann Wilburn to our class. There were two students who left us during this year: Ada Lambert and Dayton Leach. Our Junior year was our busiest. We sold concession at all of our home basketball games, and did other odd iobs to raise money. We had to work especially hard because we had to have our money for the class trip. The Juniors and Seniors went together in the spring of 5i to Washington and New York. We will always re- member the good times we had while going on that trip. Also, we gave for our Junior Class Play a comedy, A Pair of Country Kids . Our class officers for our Junior year were: President, Tom Eichhorn, Vice Presi- dent, David Gilbert, Secretary, Shirley, Treasurer, Bob Milligan, Student Council, Barbara Brickley, Our Sponsor was Clive Markley. We are now enioying our final year as students of R.C.H.S. We have an unlucky number of I3 members in our class. The class officers for this year are: President, Tom Eichhorn, Vice President, Barbara Brickley, Secretary, Dick Harshman, Treasurer, Bob Milligan, Student Coun- cil, Shirley Hare. Mr. Markley is our class Sponsor again this year. We presented The Phantom Bells, a mystery-comedy, for our Senior Class Play. We are now looking forward to the final day when we receive our diplomas. vnu Www 'SFI fm BARBARA BRICKLEY Mixed Chorus 1-2-3-4, Girls' Chorus I-2-3-4, Junior and Senior Class Play, 4-H 5 years, Yell Leader 2-4, School Paper 2-3, Annual Staff 3-4, Twirler l, Class Treasurer l-2, Vice President 4, Student Council 3. The entire play took place in one evening. lt is a mystery story about a deserted house in which people mysteriously disappear, only to return apparently dead, and then miraculously to lifeg a house where mysterious foot prints end in the middle of the room as if the owner had suddenly sprouted wings and taken flight. These are a few ofthe things Laura Rhodes and her young step mother encountered when they arrive at THE HOUSE OF THE PHANTOM BELLS. i :il Scenes From Senior Class Play. junior Elass Play The Junior Class presented a play, GRANDPA'S TWIN SISTER under the direction of Mary Hoffman, English teacher, and Kell Wygant, class Sponsor. Grandpa enioys poor health and the Thrill of ordering people about-especially at medicine time-but he worries over how to escape the persistent efforts of the Widow Williams to catch him as her fourth husband-the other three being peace- fully resting under the sod. Living with Grandpa are Clara and her henpecked husband, who cannot even call his own tongue and words his own, who want him to let Edgar act as his guardian-in charge of his money, of course. Then, there is Louise and Henry Collins who also want his money. There is Be-tty, his granddaughter, who doesn't want anything from Grandpa, but she does want young Dr. Wyatt. And the cook, Maggie, who wants a husband and is willing to pay a mail-order matrimonial bureau ten dollars for a suitable prospect. lt is not until Betty and Grandpa, who have been mixed up in several confusing incidents, decide that confession is good for the soul-and peace in the family-that the mess is straightened out. 1 A f ff .
