Patrol Boys I In the fall of '48, the menace of a highway past the school building which children often crossed was recognized. Accordingly, Mr. Reas- oner, the principal, suggested patrol boys. They were organized with voluntary workers and they served a good purpose throughout the year. Each succeeding year volunteers have assumed the res- ponsibility and taken their places at the highway during a part of the noon hour that pupils may cross in safety. The boys who have taken upon themselves this duty merit our gratitude. The group above are the boys serving during the year of 1950-51. Our Cooks ,ad Verda Penrod Hazel Freds Mary Haiflich Ray Lesh. OFTBALL The Rockcreek softball team had a very successful season this year. They again came out on too the second year in a row to receive the title as Hchamps of 49-50H. Last year a large trophy was to be given to the first team to win the title three times in Succession. The school also received two smaller trophies to keep. The record for the year was eight wins and two losses.
