The purpose of the Student Coun- cil is to work with the teachers in creating a friendly beneficial attitude between the student body and faculty, The council presents problems and suggestions to the teachers which they believe will result in a greater spirit of cooperation and good will. Members of the Student Council are elected by class vote. The class representation is two boys and two girls. The outstanding events of the year were: assisting the Pep Club to spon- sor homecoming eventsg selling cor- sages and mistletoe at Christmas time, sponsoring a Christmas Ball, the pro- ceeds going to the Good Fellows in Omaha, and sponsoring the annual polio drive.
