DRAMA CLUB Drama club is a social orga- nization whose primary pur- pose is to enrich the lives of its members through a constant and unvarying variety of theat- rical activities. This year the club produced two original works written by Martin Pope and Dan Purcell. FFA FFA, Future Farmers of America, is an organization for those students enrolled in a vocational agriculture course and interested in the im- provement of agriculture. The club promotes leadership and patriotism as well as citizenship. Participants prepare exhibits for the Boone Coun- ty fair, attend summer leadership camps, and go on field trips, as well as having regular meetings and guest speakers. The first year class writes stories and learns the me- chanics of journalism while the second year class handles the actual manage- ment of the paper. This past summer the journalism department purchased two Macintosh computers and a laser printer to improve the quality of the paper.
