National Honor Society is a club for students who have ex- celled in both academics and extracurricular activities. Stu- dents are judged on leader- ship, citizenship, scholarship and service and are asked to join at the end of their junior year, or the beginning of their senior year. The Ambassadors is a service organization formed to help new students assimilate into RB and become acquainted with other students. Each year ambassadors receive a new student to take to the annual barbeque, football games and the banquet. The Ambassadors also send Christmas cards to new students, hold a bake sale and keep a current bulletin board in the lunch room. Students Against Drunk Driving was started at RB in 1984 and continues to promote its two main objectives. The first is to make students aware of the hazards of driving drunk. The second is to encourage positive peer pressure to prevent students from drunk driving. SADD uses stickers and announcements in the bulletin to support its cause. Kids Listening To Kids is a peer support group started in 1985 by v rs. Cockriel, guidance counselor. Members are selected by the student body by way of a survey and go through a 10 week course to prepare them to listen to fellow students and help solve their problems. This group provides another alternative for students who feel more comfortable talking to peers rather then adults. M

TRI-THETA Tri-Theta is the girl ' s service organization at Rocl Bridge. Dur- ing the holidays they help the needy by donating food, clothing and money. This year ' s service projects also included playing Bingo with the elderly at Cande- light Terrace and providing baby- sitting for teachers at RB when elementary schools were closed.
