Perfect pictures are rare and difficult to find, but so are national award-winning schools. RB hasn ' t become one by chance. Careful selection of teachers, en- couragement for personal achievement, promotion of school spirit and unity, and a vision of perfection among staff and student body combine to give RB a re- spected status. Traditions like the Spirit Stick and DUT help establish RB ' s indi- viduality. RB YOG LOOK SO This year Rock Bridge was named one of the most outstanding high schools in the nation. Although the students and faculty have always known this to be true, it was nice to be offi- cially recognized. The Rock Bridge Senior High School sign symbolizes the firm foundation our school pro- vides for all students. Our students are shown as al- ways on top and the school exists to help further their education and future goals. On the top left is the official plaque of recognition pre- sented to Dr. Wayne Walk- er, principal, in Washington, D.C. in October, 1987. The top right photo is the Rock Bridge High School crest. Both the plaque and the crest are in the Commons area.
