How can you say something positive? What good happened? Try this: school records were set for the most receptions in a game, (Eddie Orr-8) in a season, (Orr-26) most receiving yardage in a season, (Orr-400) longest pass play (Alley-Lightner-93) most passes completed in a single game, (Roger Alley-17) in a season, (Alley-76) most passing yardage in a game, (Alley- 256) in a season, (Alley-1062). Besides all that, 68 guys finished the season trying even harder than when they started. They didn ' t give up, they constantly improved, they provided a strong basis for next season. There. That ' s what can be said about this 1-8 team, and you can ' t say this much about a lot of teams with winning records. Good job, guys.
