The 1986 Girl ' s Track Team surprised everyone in their great performances and seasons. Al- though the team was young, the Lady Bruins placed third in the Conference meet and also quali- fied six people for the sectional meet. Two school records were broken this year: the 3200 m. relay consisting of Cristal Delozier, Margaret Epstein, Kristen Twaddle, and Jody Rhodes broke the old school record by seven seconds, giving them a fifth place finish at sectionals. The team was 5-3 for the season in dual meets. The team per- formed really well against some tough teams at Conference this year. The whole team performed very well up to the end of the season. We had some good athletes come in this year, but we are sorry to say that we are also Iciing some good athletes as seniors. The track team ' s coach is being dragged away by the Girl ' s Swim Team. It was hard for him to do two sports this year, but he made it. The boy ' s don ' t get him next year, but we will miss you. Coach
