SOPHOMORE HIST OR Y On September 3 1946 we started our Freshman year w1th exghteen members Our class was the largest xn the school We met each morn mg ln the Home Econornxcs room w1th Mlss McCel1and as our class ad usor Our class officers were Charlotte Falrchxld presxdent Don Taft VICE president Dan Chapxn secretary and Jxm Mlller treasurer Durlng Chrxstmas vacatwn Lucxlle Nave moved and a l1tt1e later we gamcd an other member Gerald Smxth When we came back 1n the fall of 1947 we began our sophomore year again mn the Home Elconomxcs Room with Mrs Mottar as our advxsor VN e had lost two members Gerald Smlth and Jxm Sxdener and two new mem bers had been added Donna Johnson and Dlck Turley Before long we lost three members Donna Johnson Wayne Welch and Don Matthews The class offxcers were elected as follows Dan Chapzn pres1dent Dlck Turley vxce presldent Don Taft secretary and Jlm M1ller treasurer and all are dozng a fxne job wlth the asslstance of the rest of the class Before the end of the year we added two new members Nell Cooper and Frances Hood makxng our class memberslup seventeen and hope we have them all back with us next year. , , - v 0 .
