JUNIOR CLASS HISTORY ln September 1945 our class wzth Mrss Rzggxn as advzsor met and elected class offrcers Durxng the year Bob Evans and Joan Davxs joxned us The hxgh lxght of the year was a dance which was lots of fun as well as a fmancxal success We started our sophomore year wxth great confxdence havmg over come the trxals and trxbulatxons of our freshman year We were fortunate xn agaxn havxng Mlss Riggm as our advlsor Inez Trout and Jerry Smith became members of our class m 1947 We sold magazine subscrzptxons to help balance our budget VN e began our junmor year wlth the usual fourteen members w1th M1ss Brxttm and Mxss Emery as our advxsors We elected the followxng class of fxcers Ted Ross presxdent Nma Dugger vxce presrdent Charlotte Ross secretary and Bob Farrchxld treasurer We sold magazxne subscrlptxons xn the fall and candy durmg the year to help pay for the prom the blg event of the year We planned the refreshments for the all school Chrlstmas Hotel The senxors board members and faculty were our guests Music for danclng was by Charles Roger s orchestra We have spent three very happy years rn high school and are looklng forward to working and havxng fun an our semor year FRESHMAN CLASS HISTORY We have the dxstmctxon of bexng the youngest yet the largest class xn school On September 8 1947 twenty eight of us began our hxgh school careers At the beglnnlng of the second semester we were reduced to twen ty seven when Beverly Moore moved We sponsored the hrst dance ofthe 1947 season on November 7 Our Chrxstmas party was staged durxng Englxsh class on December ZZ Beverly Moore Jack Hexssmger Betty Szdener Donna Ross and Don Kyes planned the games Refreshments were cokes and cookxes March 19 was the date of our class party Don Gustaveson Carol Moore Donna Ross and Jxm Sxdener had charge of refreshments The en tertaxnment comm1ttee was Dons Tulpm Joanne Jackson Jrm Pxckett and John Raps Our class offlcers were Jack Hexssxnger presxdent John Raps vxce presxdent Don Kyes treasurer Alxce Langley secretary and Dorothy Cory reporter . z , . 3 . , . - .
