Leroy Lidstrom, who was assisted by Mr, Richard Nagel. liarnestly working to correct any flaws before a publi perlormance are these orchestra students. The Hand's lively music helped to boost school spirit at foot- ball games. basketball games, and pep assemblies. This year the band has played a fall concert and a spring concert, and has participated in several other activities. Taking part in community activities, the band marched in the Memorial Day parade and played for the city-wide chil- dren's Christmas party, which was held in the Mayo Civic 4Xuditorium. The Big Nine Music Festival was another of the activities of the band, and a few band members participated in the Mankato Music Festival. The otlicers of the band for this year are: Myron Snesrud, president, Charles Martin, vice-president, Beverly Honer, treasurer, Audrey Ayshforcl, Secretary. sec-tion of the band working out interpretation under the direction of Mr. Ltdstrom.
