The girls bought the corsages, picked up the boys and helped them with their coats. Corsages con- sisted of miniature bottles, different varieties of vege- tables, pussy willows, and flowers. The program consisted af a radio skit Do the She's Have a Chance in Sports? The girls put on a basketball game with the The Arsenic- irs vs. the The Robbers. The match began with a toast and included everything from the manoeuver to hair pul- ling and lipstick smearing. Both teams wore flannel night Iowns, knee length socks, and oversized tennis shoes. The Arsenicers had a height advantage over The Robbers. The Robbers were far ahead when the game ended as a result of some scheming on the part of the Arsenicers. The dance was from 8:30 to 12:00 p.m. with music by Clayton Thiede and his orchestra. After an evening of fun and joking, the girls escorted the boys home, or if they wished, bought them eats. The winners of the Oswalds were respectively: Dave Sperliug, Sharon Hammond, Carol Haver, Ellen Markham, john Krudwig, Lee Bower, Clar- ice Herzog, Dick Kimball, and judy Ekstrand.
