. . . Class Officers With Stanley Folkert as president: George Bingham as vice-presidentg and Nancy Samelian as secretary- treasurer, the Senior class of 1948 completed its last year in high school with a long-to-be-remembered round of commencement activities. Prob- ably the busiest of all class officers in senior high, these students headed the Senior Breakfast committee, and other activities, worked behind the scenes on the Senior Prom, and served on Student council committees. The biggest task for the Junior Class officers this year, Darrell Cochran, president: Beverly Hexum, vice-presi- dentg and Martha Finch, sec- retary treasurer, was the well- received Junior Prom. With the Gay Nineties as a theme, this party proved the capa- bilities of the future seniors. Besides this, the officers were active members of the Stu- dent Council. The Sophomores were well represented their first year in senior high school by their three officers, Richard Giese, presidentg Jerry Nichols, vice-presidentg and Darlene Matheson, secretary-treasurer. While they had no specific class duties, the ollicers gained leadership experience from their work on the Student Council. 9
