Cessna. oicing tudent Opinions The purpose of the Student Council is to promote a better student-faculty relation- ship, and many opportunities to do so have faced the council during this school year. Mr. Reed and Mrs. Berkebile were our com- petent advisors. The Student Council planned the Home- coming celebration, delivered Christmas baskets to local needy families, and sponsor- ed a Christmas program for the Rochester High School student body. Menus for the cafeteria and the arrangement of the recre- ational facilities also resulted from the action of the council. Although it is not an organization in- terested primarily in making money, the sponsorship of dances and the used books store, which was open in September, proved financial successes. T. Scott, assisted by M. Funk, E. Goodrich, and P. Coplen, presided over Student Council activities. ildzgc Tu emi -Fowl
