Such profound conc entratioa In late August many of the Rochester boys reported for football practice. Coach Konley, with Coach Jereau assisting, soon had developed the boys into a good team. Three of the teams that were playing had a much larger enrollment than we did, and the Falcons were faced with the most difficult schedule in the school's history. Although the team gained but three victories, the players gave the students and townsfolk many thrills. All games were hard-fought battles filled with excitement. In the traditional final game with Avondale, Rochester thoroughly outplayed the yellow- jackets, but Lady Luck was with the opposing team.
