Text from Pages 1 - 120 of the 1955 volume:

We wishto dedicate this book to the men who have so graciously given of their time and abilities. The problem of educating the youth of our commlmity has become an enormous one. Increased enrollments, temporary quarters, new buildings, bond issues, and an undersupply of teachers, in addition to curriculum and regular problems, have required much planning and time .... Without thought of self, they have served generously and faithfully and made our dreams a reality. F f 4 .gag , , gm Ati. There was only one returning regular, which left them with a small, inexperienced team. It was a season of thrills and hard breaks. The boys won three of their first four games. After Christmas vacation, they dropped three games before finding the winning path, then they won eight of the last nine games. Then began the state tournament, with the Falcons the defending champions from the previous year. They drew co- favorite Clarkston in the opening game. Despite the energy put forth, Clarkston won in a very close thriller, 43-42. Today as Seniors they have spent four successful years preparing to ful fill this motto. This past year has been one full of fun and enjoyment. Along with various after-game dances they presented a wonderful Senior Play and entered a second-prize winning float in the Homecoming Parade. This was followed by Senior Government Day which won the approval of everyone concerned. The annual Senior Carnival was the next on agenda and provided loads of fun for both yolmg and old.
