Library Builds Upward to Goddard Fourth Floor Hopes for expansion of the RCC library were realized this year as classroom space on the fourth floor of the God- dard building was converted to library use. Study carrels and book stacks occupied the addition. A stairway was con- structed to the addition from the main library. Mr. Allen Dollerschell, head librarian, supervised the construction. The Audio-Visual department of RCC played an important part in the activities of the school, charged with care of the films and tapes which were utilized in most classes. The department was also responsible for duplicating many items such as the tapes used in the language lab and all the tests and handouts for classes. The Audio-Visual department was also in charge of making signs and brochures for the school. The department staff was composed of three employees and several work-study students. These people made all the necessary minor and some of the major repairs on the equip- ment. Some of the equipment included: slide, overhead, and opaque projectors, the Zerox 7000 which was used for duplicatingg and the Videorover, a portable video tape unit. The Audio-Visual department recently moved to new quarters. Mr. john Bradley directed the department's ac- tivities.
