AFTER graduation ceremo nies, Mark Crutchfield receives congratulations from an MCC coed. Early morning rain clears for graduation Although the early morning began with rain, the weather cleared enough to once again hold graduation ceremonies under the pines. The ceremony itself included speeches by Valedictorian Jill Drummond and Salutatorian Lynn Shinsky, and remarks by President Gardner, Chancellor Palmer, and Board Chairman Wheeler Utley. A message delivered by Dr. Stevens, President of Abilene Christian College highlighted the ceremony. Graduation ended with many graduates leaving each other for different futures, but all with lives having changed from being a part of one another. OPENING remarks by Dr. Gardner welcome graduates, friends, and families. 47
