Queen Linda rules over 'Night in White Satin' Queen Linda Brown and her court could not have asked for a more romantic mood than that created at the homecoming banquet, Nights in White Satin . Silver and black dazzled the banquet room, with a dropped ceiling and candlelit tables. This year's emcee was Dan Allen. Chuck Mangion, Terry Luxton, JoAnn McKinnon, and Cyndi Franklin all sang their own special songs, entertaining students, faculty, and many alumni. The Cheerleaders and Warriorettes worked very hard to make homecoming a remembrance, and in the minds of those present, they accomplished their goal. DARLA Dean adds the finishing touches to the decorations for the head table. HAPPINESS glows in Linda Brown minutes after being crowned queen. ONLY beautiful can describe the singing of Cyndi Franklin and JoAnn McKinnon. 31

AFTER chapel, Mr. Shull examines his mail before his next class. 'MC' Routine activity typifies typical day on campus From the time a student opened his eyes in the morning until he closed them at night, he actively engaged in many things. Much of it became routine, but even in the routine he found relaxation. If one unfortunately had early morning classes, he may have even gotten up for breakfast. Those participating in that feast were few. If not breakfast, chapel served as his first awakening to the world. After chapel the masses proceeded to the mailbox, receiving letters from friends or campus junk mail . Classes followed all day with only time out for lunch. In the afternoon and evening, studying and campus activities filled the time until curfew. LAUGHING together, Connie Staggs and Micky Dunn leave their last class of the day. 32 4 5 ,ff X, if 'N .. f .I , Q 'V' W ' aff? 5 ' 1 'E 'S K, 3,- 6 A im-as e,,.. . ., 'wr ,- ails J ...M ,M . . v , , .a , - . 1 c , , , . ..
