Determined to have a good league standing, the team faced each game with a will to win. Strong pitching, backed by outstanding hitting helped the Warriors accomplish their goal. Overall, the team had twelve wins to fifteen losses. In league competition they had seven wins with three losses, tying with Grand Rapids Baptist College for second place. In anticipation of the season, the team spent an eventful week in spring training at Boca Raton, Florida, where some picked up sunburns as well.
