Late delivery adds dimension to Totem Pole Pursuing the theme, Reach Outn, the 1972-1973 Totem Pole staff attempted to represent the campus in its many aspects. Due to a late start, and the introduction of a new editor and a new sponsor, the yearbook was subjected to a late delivery, which enabled it to include many activities which past yearbooks had found necessary to leave out. This, along with a unique cover, and the use of color in the introduction added a new dimension and a bit of spice to the overall publication. Despite several setbacks, the staff maintained an enthusiastic spirit. TOTEM POLE STAFF. Front Row: Case, Allen, Burton. Third year win retires trophy to Alpha Chi Alpha Chi once again reigned victorious by taking the trophy that showed them for the third year in a row to be number one in intramural points. Their many wins included one of the two outstanding women athletes. Their lengthy and varied list of winnings showed that Alpha Chi worked together as a whole within the club to win the trophy. Although Beta Rho was not very strong in overall points, they did show winning representation in team sports and forensics. They also produced one of the two outstanding women intramural athletes.
