A CAPPELLA Chorus performs their first time at the annual Fall Lectureship. Ohio camp trap highlights year for A Cappella Though only in existence for a short time, the A Cappella Chorus accomplished many things. The year really began with a weekend chorus camp at Fort Hill Christian Youth Camp in Southem Ohio. Hours of rehearsals were occasionally disrupted for times of entertainment and relaxation. Besides preparing the chorus for its first performance, the weekend served as a time for chorus members to become acquainted with each other. A Cappella members became aware of the necessity of these rehearsals when the chorus made its official debut at the 1972 Annual M.C.C. Fall Lectureships. QV' fb MCC Singers visit Canada, seven states Resulting from a major reorganization of the choral program at the beginning of the winter quarter, the MCC Singers became the college's major traveling music group for the current school year. The group consisted of a women's octet and a mixed ensemble which often combined. The Singers made their debut at a Christmas banquet in Sandusky, Ohio. A brief jaunt to New York, Niagara Falls, and Great Lakes Christian College in Ontario took place in February. March witnessed a major twelve-day tour in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, and Iowa. A weekend tour of Northern Ohio and the Annual Spring Concert in May completed the year.
