Professor Earwood, better known to childhood friends as Preach' taught in Indiana public schools for six years before coming here. He served as Assistant Principal and Counselor from 1957-1959. 20 HOWARD L. SCHUG Doctor Howard Schug, elder statesman of the faculty is well-known to all. He received his B. A. and M. A. degrees from the University of Michigan and his Ph. D. from George Peabody College. I-le has taught in high and colleges for over 50 years.
