Lcdr C. A. Kuhl reported aboard the ROCH- ESTER in September of i952 as Navigator. Surrounded by compasses, fathometers, flags, sextants and loran equipment, he has navi- gated the ROCH ESTER across the Pacific twice, all along the Korean coast during the winter operations with Seventh Fleet, and South to Manila and Saigon. l-lailing from New Haven, Conn., Lcdr Kuhl was formerly a member of the staff of COMDESFLOT 3.
