it Superintendent Leroy R. Peterson in his new office. He received his academic training at Augustana College and at the University of Illinois, and he has both his B.A. and M.A. degrees, W H-Q. Assistant Principal Superin tendent-Principal Through the constant planning and assistance of Mr. Leroy R. Peterson the new addition to Rochelle Town- ship High School is completed. Wheri there is need. Mr. Peterson also takes time from his duties of superintend- ent to do substitute teaching. '6lVlr. Peterson is one of the outstanding educators in the state today. He has done an excellent job here in Rochelle, said Phil Nye, toastmaster at the sixteenth annual Football Banquet, December 4, l956. Mr. Harold F. Maris, assistant principal, received his Bachelor of Science in Education at Eastern lllinois State College and his Masters degree at Colorado State College of Education. He has attended Northern lllinois State College. Mr. Maris teaches civics and sociology and is the student council advisor.
