Of the thirty-four nieniliers, eleven are new, five being replacements and six ad- ditions. In addition to their regular duties, many oi the faculty members serve as advisors for classes and clubs. As a governing group. the student council members represent the entire student body. The council representatives were chosen at an election last fall, one member selected from each of the various guidance groups. Ably led by their president, Mike Weather- bee, and advised by Mr. Maris, their sponsor, the group met seventh hour every other Tuesday. I Due to the efforts of the student council, our Homecoming celebration turned out a great success. This is one of their main pro- jects of the year, and they had full charge of all the festivities.
