Pl SUPERIN TENDEN T PRINCIPAL Of the many duties which Mr Peterson has one is helping the students plan their schedules so that they will be prepared for graduation and for their many vocational interests He must also maintain school facilities to provide for instruction and the various courses offered He also plans assemblies sporting events social events and many other activities Because the enrollment is steadily increasing much of his present time is spent with lans for the new buildin His work in relation to these lans involves handlm P S P g financial problems making speeches and business trips Mr Peterson received his BA degree from Augustana College in Rock Island and his M A degree from the University of Illinois OFFICE SECRETARIES Mrs Hope is Mr Peterson's secretary, and Mrs. Wren is the assistant secretary. They are al- ways busy typing letters, mimeographing tests and various papers, answering the telephone and Q delivering messages, and filling out absence ex- cuses. In addition to these duties they also handle all funds for clubs, book rentals, and student activity tickets. To Mrs. Hope and Mrs. Wren we say Thank you for being cheerful and always ready to help us. -5.
