p 1 AQ. 'st T The 1965 HORNET has been designed to portray in words and pictures our life at Rochelle this year. In its pages we have tried to capture the progress of our school and the highlights of student activity. You'11 find pictures of drudgery and hard work, play and excitement, success and some failureg but after all, it is a combination of these things that have made up our year. We hope that twenty-five years from now, you will smile at the remembrances that return each time this book is opened. To record this year, several changes have been made in the book itself. It has more pages and color work than previous Rochelle yearbooks. The organizations' section has been revised. Pictures and copy pertaining to the organizations' activities have also been included. The hornet, which you will find throughout the book, symbolizes the spirit of accomplishment which centers itself in the present, reaches from the past, and points to the future. It is your guide to the memories of this year. . .its laughter, its .tears, its joys, its sorrows, its adventuresg moments of exuberant happiness and those of deepest despair. Follow the hornets as they arch their way through two semesters. . . the story of the 1964-65 Rochelle Student Body. THE EDITORS If K I! 1 5 H 2 W
