WEAPONS LT THOMAS V. WORKS LT Thomas Victor Works was born 20 Jan. 1957 in Moun- tain Home, Idaho, and raised in Portsmouth, New Hamp- shire. He attended the University of Rochester on a full ROTC scholarship graduating with a BA in History and receiving his commission in 1979. LT Work's first sea assignment was as 1st Division Officer on the USS DURHAM CLKA 145 later as the Main Propul- sion Assistant. He next served as CIC Officer on USS JOUETT CCG 293 from February 1983 to January 1985 dur- 30 ing which he completed two highly sucCeSSfUl deployments. h Ol LT Works graduated from the Naval Postgraduatff SC 0 in October 1986 with a Master of Science degree in Cgm' puter systems. He completed SWOS Department H921 DG School in May 1987 and reported to USS ROBISON CD ,ed 125 as Weapons Officer in July 1987. LT Works is maggw to the former Kathleen M. Schectman of Portsmouth, Hampshire and has three children.
