Weapons Department :QM L LT L. Murphy, Weapons Officer 'lair GMMC MacVittie, Ist Div. Officer Officer The Weapons department serves the crew in a variety of ways. However, their primary mission is to keep ROBISON's weapons serviceable and to defend her from unfriendly forces. Their personnel are responsible for stowing, assembling and loading ordnance for the quarter- deck inport watchstanders, mount 51 and 52 5 54 caliber guns, the tartar MK-11 missiles and the ASROC missile launcher. They are also involved in main taining and exercising ship 's sensors, weapons, and NTDS systems. ENS Stadius, CS Div. 51-f LTJG Ward, AS Div. GMGC Hollis, G Div. Officer Officer Weapons department's secondary mission, but just as important, is the maintenance and preservation of the ship's body. They provide paint and cleaning gear to each division to keep ROBISON in tip top shape. Weapons can take pride in the fact that they have successfully met every challenge they were faced with and also in the knowledge that if need had ever arisen, ROBISON's weapons systems and the men who manned them were fully ready for combat.
