EM Of E WO Officer ROBISONS' Operations Department is responsible for the planning and executing of the ships' schedule, the ships' external communications, detections of ships and aircraft by radar or passive electronic Warfare, and repair of electronic equipment. ROBISON's achievements in the areas of telecommunications, both broadcast and tacticalg combat direction and intelligence collectiong electronic Warfare: and repair of communications equipment and search radars have earned the ship a reputation for opera tional excellence. During the Operation Valiant Blitz, a Well done for communications coordination from the Commander RADM Shiclr, CTF 76. Contributing to ROBISON'S superior operational reputation were Communica- tions IOCQ Division, composed of Radiomen IRM'sl and Signalmen ISM'sjg Electronic Repair and Electronic Warfare IOEQ Division, including both Electronic Technicians IET'sj and Electronic Warfare Technicians 1EW's1 and Combat Informa- tion I OI j Division, made up of Operations Specialists IOS'sj.
