For our 38 guests it Wasn't all pleasure as they were subjected to intensive training in areas vital to preparations for commissioning ' as Ensigns in the U. S. Robison s Adopted Children On the eve of our WESTPAC deployment, RGBISON tried to make the holidays just a bit more cheerful for the children from the San Diego Mission. It was hard to tell whether the guests or the hosts had more fun as magician Will Starr entertained and Santa Claus QBM 1 YOUNG! handed out the presents. Every year since coming to San Diego, ROBISON has sponsored a little league baseball team. A big moment for last year's team was a guided tour of the ship and a chance to meet members of the crew. The boys were entranced by the TARTAR missile launcher fbelowl. As they wandered about the ship, some probably hoped for the day when they might help to sail her. Y
